Who we are

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website, and how we handle client records in the salon.

The website does not store your details

This is a static website with no database and no server that receives form submissions.

When you fill in the contact form or the student model register, nothing is sent to us over the web. Your browser assembles the details into a message, copies it to your clipboard and opens Facebook Messenger so you can paste and send it yourself. Until you press send in Messenger, we have not received anything, and the website has not stored anything.

Once you do send it, that message sits in our Facebook inbox and is governed by Meta's privacy policy as well as ours.

What we do collect on the website

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and which links they click. It tells us, for example, whether people are finding the price list and going on to message us.

Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location (usually city-level), the type of device and browser you are using, how you arrived at the site, and which pages you viewed. It does not tell us who you are, and we make no attempt to identify individual visitors.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on, or use your browser's private browsing mode.

Embedded content from other services

• Google Maps on the contact page. Loading the map shares your IP address with Google and may set cookies.
• Google Fonts, used for the typefaces on every page. This shares your IP address with Google when the fonts load.
• Links to Facebook and Instagram. We do not embed their tracking code, but once you follow a link you are on their site and subject to their policies.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and troubleshooting.

Information we collect in the salon

Before any treatment we ask you to complete a consultation and consent form. Depending on the treatment, this may include your name and contact details, relevant medical history, allergies, medications and patch test results.

We collect this because it is necessary to treat you safely, and because our insurer and Queensland infection control requirements oblige us to keep records. We use it only to provide your treatment and to keep our records, and we do not sell it or share it for marketing.

Records are kept for as long as our insurance and the relevant health regulations require, and are stored securely.

Photographs

We often photograph our work. We will only publish a photograph that shows your face — on social media, this website or in promotional material — if you have given written consent on your consultation form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by telling us, and we will remove the images we control.

Your choices

• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• You can ask us to delete your records, subject to any period we are required to keep them.
• You can withdraw photography consent at any time.
• You can ask to be removed from the student model register at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — for example if we add online booking — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
